A small tourist pier located on the site of the ancient port of Ulpian's villa
The tourist port of Santa Marinella is located near the old town and is embellished by the presence of the Odescalchi Castle. The palace is still owned by the noble Roman family and therefore can only be visited on official occasions. From the heart of the town, the current Piazza Trieste, you can easily reach the panoramic terrace from which you can admire the panorama of the small port.
The Santa Marinella marina opens to the south through a convenient inlet that protects the landing from the currents. The marina is currently managed by a private company, which over the years has taken care of reorganizing the spaces in the water and on land and has equipped it with two moden floating docks. The port can now accommodate 285 boats, with a maximum length of 15 meters and has all kinds of services in addition to a landing place for small fishing boats. An innovative expansion project is currently underway to increase the capacity of the port with the construction of a new breakwater.
